We love riding!
If you’re a racer, or want to be a racer… or just want to ride the trails, we’ve got you covered. VIDRA maintains land stewardship of three off-road recreation areas on the island and can serve up some wicked single-track!
We have a lot of fun hosting races and events!
VIDRA is the home of the Vancouver Island Hare Scramble Series (VIHSS) that includes classes for men, women and kids. The whole family can get involved!
We have standalone fun races as well as Hard Enduro racing.
The Mudhunniez women’s race team hosts two non-competitive events for women and girls annually.
2024 season
Racing
VIDRA has been hosting the Vancouver Island Hare Scramble Series (VIHSS) for over a decade.
The series has grown steadily in popularity and has spawned a Kids Series running in tandem.
The races take place over a weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Typically Kids and Womens’ Beginner race on Saturday but check each event for details!
We’ve recently introduced a Women’s Expert class (A) to the Hare Scramble Series!

CASH FOR RACERS
You could get CASH for racing! VIDRA is stoked to pair up with Husqvarna, KTM, and GasGas and offer Contingency Cash again for the 2024 season. Check it out HERE to see more details!
